Coffee Roasting Company

Blanchard’s Coffee Roasting Co. is a wholesale coffee roaster located in our very own Richmond, Virginia. We design their coffee labels and packaging as well as their quarterly publication, Handshake Quarterly, which features photos, recipes and stories about their coffee farm partnerships around the world. Blanchard’s opened their flagship cafe on Broad Street in 2019, which required we expand our role on their creative team. The existing colors and shapes of the old architectural structure directly informed our design decisions for everything from mugs and trays to tissue paper and menus. We wanted to celebrate the patina of the space and take our cues from it - modernizing it with curved corners, warm tones, and soothing shapes.
